Keywest Technology introduces the Big VooDoo PIP — a low cost, superior function Picture-In-Picture unit built to “Broadcast Standards” that uses a high quality linear keyer. The BVPIP has the features most applicable to today’s “pullback” applications. Put the Background and Foreground video in and set the Size/Position of the video insert, and you’re ready to go. It allows you to crop the picture insert for that perfect look, then save it to one of ten presets that can be recalled through the front panel, RS-232 or GPI (contact closure). The BVPIP genlocks to the background input automatically. It has a full TBC/synchronizer video processor controls (brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, horizontal phase and sub-carrier phase), freeze-frame and freeze field for the video insert channel.

This powerful device is packaged in the familiar Big VooDoo ¼ rack chassis, and is powered by external 5VDC wall transformer (included) or the optional VooDoo Rack Mount 8X power supply unit.
