Video/Audio Matrix Switchers

The Kramer VS-802xl, VS-602xl and VS-402xl are high performance, 8x2, 6x2 and 4x2 vertical interval matrix switchers for composite video and balanced stereo audio signals. They are true matrix switchers, allowing the user to route any input to any or all outputs simultaneously. Since the machines switch during the vertical interval, transitions are glitch-free when sources share a common reference sync. The new VS - “02xl” series has many updated features including audio breakaway, which switches audio independently of video. In addition, the new TAKE button allows the user to place multiple switches in a queue, and then activate them with one touch of this button or a single serial command. Kramer Windows® - based PC control software is included. There are three control methods: front-panel buttons, RS-232, and RS-485. The machines are dependable, rugged, and fit in one vertical space of a standard 19” rack (the VS-802xl occupies 2 vertical spaces). Video bandwidth of over 300MHz ensures that the machines remain transparent even in the most critical applications.
