The Eagle 200 represents a quantum leap in seamless switching capabilities to answer the needs of today’s user. With 2 brand new high performance scalers, 8 analog video inputs, 2 Standard Definition SDI inputs (HD SDI on Eagle 200 HD) and 2 DVI inputs, the Eagle 200 promises extreme performance at an affordable price. Traditionally, seamless switchers with 2 scalers had 1 locked to preview and 1 locked to the program output. Transitions were simply swapping the scalers between preview and program. This placed significant restrictions on special effects such as Picture in Picture (PiP) and Keying. The Eagle 200 removes those restrictions by treating the scalers simply as layers.
